Cowan Group recently launched the new Chicago Rib Shack website to great success with over 3000 bookings taken online in the first 72 hours. These amazing results were achieved using a data capture campaign over the past year, including Facebook, where we occasionally leaked rumours of the return of The Shack. Two weeks prior to the main site going live all members were sent an email telling them that The Shack is back but they would have to sign up to a new website to find out where the new restaurant will be located. The main web site went live on March 16th when a second email was sent directing people to a teasing video of the location of the site. The email achieved an open rate of 85% with a click through of 94%. In total, the final figures before The Chicago Rib Shack actually opened its doors on the 8th May ended up at: 7745 covers, 1318 bookings. At roughly £30 per head that’s about £232,350 worth of business!
