Cowan Group is delighted to announce it has begun working with London Irish, one of Europe’s leading rugby clubs, on the development of its brand and related marketing initiatives.
Working with the new CEO Andy Martin and Marketing Director Felicity Greenland, we are developing a coherent platform for all brand communications across all stakeholders; fans, players, club employees, business partners and the developing audience.
The new brand builds on the heritage of The Exiles and emphasises the international reach of the club and modern rugby.
The first marketing activity to be launched is the ticket campaign for the vital Heineken Cup clash with Leinster, the reigning European champions. Because of a clash with Reading’s fourth round FA Cup tie at the Madejski Stadium, the game had to be moved to Twickenham.
The campaign involves email marketing, billboards (4-sheet, 6-sheets and digital 6-sheets), press ads and leaflet drop.
