Having worked in a number of top direct marketing agencies including Payne Stracey (aka TBWA Payne Stracey) he setup digital agency edesigns.co.uk in 1999.
The purpose of the agency was to creatively apply traditional direct marketing techniques to digital mediums and it quickly became the UK’s first full service creative email marketing agency and a top 50 digital agency in 2004.
Following this Marcel formed Cowan Group as a full service creative and digital agency whose strengths lie in working with clients to demystify digital technologies, build business and create new and innovative ways to market through relationship driven channels.
Marcel drives the agency forward and ensures we have the experience and expertise to creatively deliver in both direct marketing and digital mediums.
Award-winning Darren Shea has over 10 years experience of direct and online marketing.
His focus is on the understanding and analysis of the cognitive needs of the end-user, and then capturing these thought processes to bring a human element to the creative process.
So basically he makes sure the work the creative team produce looks good and the customer likes it too.
Jen Dady has over 8 years’ experience in sales and marketing with a background that spans marketing to the UK’s student population to directing key accounts within Cowan Group.
Her focus is on client satisfaction and account growth and she has been instrumental in Cowan Group success stories Ricall, Hammond Phillips and BrightHouse.
Gill has over 10 years direct marketing and promotions experience, including a valuable client-side and agency-side background.
Previously Marketing Manager at Club Med UK for 3 years, Gill was keen to establish the overall marketing perspective and move agency-side, where she spent 5 years working closely with blue chip brands such as American Airlines, Marriott, VisitBritain, Barclays, Honda, Le Manoir Aux Quat’ Saisons and HSBC.
In 2005, Gill joined Cowan Group and is now responsible for all business development at the company, where she identifies & establishes relationships with prospective clients and directs new business marketing campaigns on behalf of the agency.
